Case Study: The Great Gatsby
F. Scott Fitzgerald, inspired by the parties he had attended while visiting Long Island’s north shore, began planning the great novel, The Great Gatsby, in 1923 desiring to produce, in his words, “something new—something extraordinary and beautiful and simple and intricately patterned.”
When Public Identity was asked to produce a Hoodie for the cast and crew wrap party for the blockbuster movie, Gatsby, we used this quotation for inspiration. We actually put Fitzgerald’s most famous quote on the sleeve of the jacket with a little extra touch from Tobey and Leo. The decorating technique used on the logo on the left chest is beautiful.
Decorating is an art and involves the science of listening.
