The Public Identity Team set-up the new tradeshow booth at the ACUHO Conference in Minneapolis. We were in prime position to meet with Housing Officers from all over the United States and offered plenty of creative ideas…including boxer shorts.
We love Nashville! We set up the booth and met with so many of our great customers at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). It was great to see everyone and as you can see from the attached photo of Matty Toomb, we had a lot of fun at the event as well.
NACA is a recognized leader in higher education for providing members with innovative practices and access to programs that support campus engagement. NACA
now has more than 950 college and university members and over 550 associate members who represent artists, lecturers and performers. This high-profile, high-energy, four-day event provides networking opportunities with other professionals, students and associate members. Attracting more than 2,000 delegates from nearly 450 member schools, NACA’s National Convention is the nation’s largest campus activities marketplace.
During the Convention, delegates can view more than 80 live performances ranging
from music and comedy to lecture and interactive programs. NACA’s Campus Activities Marketplace gives us the chance to meet with everyone and discuss the promotional items that will coincide with their upcoming events.
Public Identity will be exhibiting again when Boston hosts NACA in 2014.
We would like to welcome Amos Pelaez to the Public Identity team. Otherwise known as “Famous Amos,” for reasons unknown, he brings a strong industry background to the office. Amos spent the last two years on the supplier side of the business working for International Merchandise
Concepts (IMC), developing product campaigns and delivering quality service to clients such as Public Identity. “It’s always exciting to bring in a new member to our team,” says Leland Felsenthal, “and when that person comes from the supplier side of our business they bring another level of expertise.”
The Merchandising Team at Public Identity visits Las Vegas in January 2014. They will be searching for the latest and greatest promotional items so they can be compiled into a new tool for the buyers in the College Market. Be on the lookout for this piece to be delivered via mail and at conferences in 2014.
